Privacy Policy - GDPR

This policy (“Privacy Policy“) forms an integral part of Flooring Consultancy Scandinavia AB's (559245-6999) (“Flooring Consultancy“) general terms and refers to the processing of personal data within the business. The Privacy Policy describes how Flooring Consultancy collects, processes and protects your personal data. It applies from its publication on www.flooringconsultancy.se. Updates in the Privacy Policy will be published on the website and Flooring Consultancy’s customers will receive information by email in case major changes occur in the Privacy Policy.

Personal data refers to information that can directly or indirectly identify a natural person but not information anonymised or aggregated in such a way that it (nor by means of other information) can identify a specific physical Person.

1. Data Controller

Flooring Consultancy is the data controller and thus responsible for the processing of personal data that takes place within the business and within the framework of the services provided under the general terms and conditions and is responsible for the processing in accordance with the principles set out in the Privacy Policy.

2. Which data Flooring Consultancy handles

When you apply for assignment from Flooring Consultancy and thus agree to the general terms and conditions, you agree to share certain personal data with Flooring Consultancy and thus agree that the information will be transferred and stored on our servers in Sweden or in other countries in or outside the EU/EEA.

A. Information customer leaves to Flooring Consultancy

Flooring Consultancy collects and saves information provided in connection with the customer submitting an application for a possible assignment and, in the case of completion of a contract or use of other services or tools that Flooring Consultancy may provide. Information referred to includes, for example:

  • Information provided to Flooring Consultancy when applying for a consulting assignment /Inspection, consisting of e-mail addresses, and in some cases telephone or mobile phone numbers and first and last name.
  • In cases where a contract is entered into and information is provided about your Social Security number, financial information in the form of bank account number and possibly your registered address.
  • Information about payments according to agreements.

B. Information that Flooring Consultancy collects automatically

When you use other services provided by Flooring Consultancy, click on links in newsletters from Flooring Consultancy, automatically collects information sent from your computer, mobile phone, or other device used. This information consists of connection information, page view statistics, IP address, traffic to and from the website, ad data, referring URL and standard information from web blogs.

C. Information from Third Parties

Flooring Consultancy may obtain additional information about you from a third party, e.g. if you are not able to obtain additional information from a third party. Data providers and add the data to Flooring Consultancy's information about you. The information may include credit information, information from courts and or authorities. However, information is obtained only to the extent permitted by applicable legislation.

3. Use of personal data

Flooring Consultancy processes your personal data with the aim of addressing the daily business needs and investment agreements entered into, for monitoring and analysis purposes, in order to offer the opportunity to use Flooring Consultancy’s services and tools, to provide customer service and relevant information from Flooring Consultancy consisting of, among other things, offers of new business proposals marketing purposes. The basis of Flooring Consultancy’s processing of your personal data is for Flooring Consultancy’s legitimate interest as well as for fulfilling the agreement between Flooring Consultancy and the customer.

By accepting Flooring Consultancy’s terms and conditions and thus the Privacy Policy, you agree that Flooring Consultancy processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Administer the customer’s contracts (in and payouts) and to otherwise provide access to the tools and services that Flooring Consultancy may offer at any time.
  • Send information about updates to general terms, the Integrity policy, or Flooring Consultancy’s services.
  • Use cookies or other tracking technologies to provide the Services and/or work with other third parties such as ad or analytics companies to provide the Services.
  • Promote Flooring Consultancy's products and services
  • Keep statistics, perform market and customer analyses and perform general business and method development.
  • Enable consult assignments of Flooring Consultancy
  • Carry out checks on EU sanctions lists, UN sanctions lists and PEP lists, etc. ,and comply with other obligations arising from laws, regulations or internal regulations.

4. Terminate our use of personal data

If you do not wish to receive offers or marketing from Flooring Consultancy, please contact Flooring Consultancy on the following details: peter@flooringconsultancy.se and object to the treatment. If you revoke your acceptance of the processing of personal data, or disclosure of the data for the purposes specified in the Privacy Policy, Flooring Consultancy may not give you access to the services and customer service provided by FDlooring Consultancy under this Privacy Policy and the General Terms and Conditions.

5. Disclosure of personal data

Flooring Consultancy does not resell or disclose your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes (except as stated in paragraph 3 above) without your express consent.

Flooring Consultancy discloses your personal data to comply with legal obligations and maintain policies adopted. Your personal data will only be disclosed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

For fulfilling commitments under the General Terms and Conditions and for the purposes referred to in paragraph 3 above, Flooring Consultancy may share your personal data with:

  • Any future group companies to Flooring Consultancy for the provision of common content and common services, to detect and prevent violations of Flooring Consultancy’s policies, provide guidance on the products, websites, tools or services of the group companies and in accordance with applicable law.
  • Subcontractors such as Flooring Consultancy use to operate, including but not limited to, IT providers, cloud service providers, payment institutions or other companies for handling payments and payments.
  • Partners in assignments Flooring Consultancy undertakes, such as assessment and environmental organisations and other suppliers of legal or economic services in connection with assignments.
  • Supervisory authority, police authority, other authority or competent third party, for answering questions related to criminal investigations or other activity that may entail responsibility for Flooring Consulytancy or you. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Flooring Consultancy will disclose information relevant and necessary for any investigation, such as the use of information, name, social security number, e-mail address and IP address.

When you visit or use our tools or services, such as e-mail, LFlooring Consultancy and its suppliers can use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to store information in order to create a faster and safer experience for you. 7. Transfer of personal data to third countries

Flooring Consultancy saves and processes your personal data on Flooring Consultancy's servers in Sweden as well as in other countries inside or outside the EEA. Flooring Consultancy undertakes to provide appropriate protection for your personal data when the information is transferred to a location outside the EEA. You agree that your personal data may be processed and transferred to a country outside the EEA.

Flooring Consultancy uses physical, technical and organizational security measures, based on the amount and sensitivity of the personal data processed, partly to prevent unauthorized processing, including but not limited to unauthorized access, acquisition and use of, or loss, deletion or other damage to your personal data. Some items on security measures that Flooring Consultancy uses are encryption and anonymization of data, firewalls, and access access control.

8. Termination of contracts and retention of personal data

Flooring Consultancy saves personal data in the time necessary for us to administer the contractual relationship, exercise our rights and fulfill our obligations in relation to you/the customer you are employed or contractors with. However, in order to meet legal requirements or because we have the right to do so according to a balance of interests, we may save your personal data for a long time.  

Any information relating to payment and where processing is required by the Accounting Act is processed for seven (7) years under the Accounting Act.

Flooring Consultancy may retain personal data related to terminated contracts in the following situations:

  • Flooring Consultancy has a legitimate business interest and it is not prohibited by law.
  • Where a dispute is not fully regulated and the information is necessary to finalise the dispute/assignment.
  • To deal with an assignment or dispute and/or ensure that Flooring Consultancy’s General Terms and Conditions are maintained.
  • Since Flooring Consultancy is required by law to retain personal data, such as compliance with money laundering legislation.
  • To take other measures permitted by law.

Regardless of the circumstances of your personal data, the data will be handled securely and only as long as necessary to fulfil any of the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to obtain further information about the personal data Flooring Consultancy processes about you by requesting a register statement. The request shall be made in writing and no compensation shall be paid to Flooring Consultancy. You also have the right to request the correction or blocking of personal data that is incorrect or that personal data about you should be deleted. You also have the right to request your personal data in a structured and machine-readable format in order to transfer the data to another controller. You have the right to refuse that personal data is used for direct marketing and you may revoke your consent by contacting Flooring Consultancy on peter@flooringconsultancy.se.

If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact LFlooring Consultancy at peter@flooringconsultancy.se and enter your full name and the email address used in the registration. When a task is changed or deleted, you will be informed that this has happened within one month. Data that cannot be deleted will be pseudonymized.
